We are missionaries in Cochabamba, Bolivia and are the administrators for an all girls orphanage here. The home has 25 girls to which we are “parents”, 70% are between the ages of 13 and 16. This orphanage was stated by my husbands parents 20 years ago. This work is difficult but there is no where else we would rather be. We have two blessings, our son is three and our daughter is one.

In case you are wondering about the title of my blog let me explain….

God: We love Him and He is what we are living for

Gluten: I have celiacs disease and am extremely sensitive to gluten. I also have many other food intolerances such as, casein ( milk products),corn, peanuts, soy, refined sugars, and nightshades ( tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant and peppers). As you can imagine eating is difficult and eating out almost impossible! So gluten and the things that go along with it are a big part of our lives.

Gringos: That is what white people are called down here
